Job ExpectationsA bit about your role This role is crucial for the development, coordination, and delivery of Field Led transformation programs and other projects within the Field Services Pipeline. You will work across multiple business units, leading key initiatives through all phases of project delivery, including requirements elicitation, resource planning, reporting, risk/issue management, and adherence to PMO governance principles and quality standards. You will also collaborate closely with senior and executive management, as well as various teams across the organization, to establish a clear end-to-end view of cross-functional processes, deliver new or improved operational processes, and establish interlocks between relevant nbn business units.
In addition to managing end-to-end delivery of your workstream capabilities, you will prepare timely, accurate, and high-quality documents and presentations for project governance forums and key senior and C-Suite stakeholders. You will support the Portfolio Manager where appointed, ensuring the program/project is delivering the planned initiatives within the required timeframe and budget.
A bit about you You have coordinated multiple projects with complex cross-functional virtual teams within technology-dependent enterprises. You possess a deep understanding of project concepts, principles, products, and tools, and have significant experience managing complex business or improvement projects for large service providers, utilities, and government customers, ideally in the telecommunications sector. Your expertise includes process re-engineering, business improvement, and change management, and you excel at analyzing complex problems to develop innovative solutions.
You have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the product development lifecycle and processes. You are proficient with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Trello, and Miro boards. Your ability to present effectively to senior management, providing an end-to-end view of project status, issues, and mitigation plans, is well-established. You excel in building enduring business relationships and personal credibility with stakeholders, and possess highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. Your strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills, combined with your ability to manage virtual teams and prioritize resources, make you adept at influencing cross-functional teams and collaborating with various experts to resolve critical project issues. You are analytical, creative, and commercially astute, with a proven ability to adopt and embed project management standards, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement practices. Your proactive approach and ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement within the PMO.
