The Role Our Project Services team is essential in ensuring the continued delivery and expansion of new social and affordable housing services our organisation can provide. We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager who will have responsibility to ensure CHL undertakes our required obligations for the Ground Lease Model (GLM) 2 project which is delivering over 1300 apartments across four sites in Melbourne.
This role will be the central point of contact with our key external stakeholders and have responsibility for coordinating the required inputs from relevant internal stakeholders. This is a highly important role within CHL and will report directly to the Chief Development Officer.
Key responsibilities: Coordinating CHL requirements of project delivery through the development lifecycle in line with partnership and funding commitments working collaboratively with key stakeholders.Coordinate required inputs across CHL to ensure we meet required obligations as set out in contractual documents.Establish and maintain active working relationships with key stakeholders in the broader GLM consortium and with Homes Victoria.Prepare and co-ordinate reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders and regular project reports for committees and boards.Undertake effective management of project budgets.Actively participate in the State's leadership team and work to foster strategic partnerships across Government, NFP and private sectors.About you You will have extensive experience in a similar role within the Property Development, Housing sector or Project Management, with extensive experience in coordinating the delivery of multiple projects and contracts. Relevant tertiary qualifications in property development or related discipline highly desirableAn excellent communicator with a talent for building relationships and working in partnership with key stakeholdersExceptional problem solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify and navigate potential risksThe ability to work independently as part of a wider team and adapt in a fast-paced environmentA commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing.Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
