Senior PM needed for global commercial fitout builder, East Melbourne Location, flexible working arrangements, up to $200k + super + bonus.The CompanyMy client is a highly respected D&C head contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality fitouts projects around Melbourne CBD. Established for close to 15 years, our client has continued to grow and develop long lasting relationships across international clients over 25 countries. The RoleAs the successful Project Manager, you will lead the way in taking control of the full project life cycle from pre-construction through to delivery and PC. You will be required to coordinate your team in ensuring programs are delivered on time and within budget. You will be managing and supporting key stakeholders through the life cycle of the project across a range of bespoke fitout projects. ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Project Planning: Lead and coordinate the estimating proposal from scope identification to final costing and submittal of proposal Review plans: drawings and specifications and develop deep understanding of all materials, labor and time required to complete the projects. Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of skilled professionals, including architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors. Ensuring clear communication channels and fostering a collaborative work environment. Quality Control: Implementing strict quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the highest standards are met. Conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly. Budget Management: Monitoring project finances, tracking expenditures, and managing cost-control strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans to avoid any project delays or budget overruns. Client Relations: Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing regular project updates. Addressing any concerns or changes efficiently and professionally. Compliance: Ensuring all projects comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Requirements Relevant trade qualification, degree or higher education. 8+ years of construction experience. Demonstrated understanding of preconstruction and delivery methodologies. Extensive experience in construction estimating, ideally with a commercial focus. Strong client facing ability. Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with others. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project and Construction Project Management software, preferably Vista. Benefits Competitive market salary - $160k - $200k + super + bonus.
