This diverse D&C firm are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Melbourne team. The first project will be a largely new build, converting a warehouse space into a lab in the Inner West of Melbourne (Just outside the CBD) The project will run from Mid-July to roughly August 2025, delivered in 2 stages. This project will be 70% services based, and as such the successful applicant will be well across both services and interiors. The bulk of this firms works is in commercial fitout, and so experience across both areas are preferential for this role. Your new role Supervision and oversight, directing construction projects end-to-end
Review project plans and specifications, building design and scheduling
Handling overall project finances, reviewing budget, tracking expenditure and profitability
Work with Senior Site Manager to hit project milestones
Manage requisitions, subcontractor payments, internal and external project reports
What you'll need to succeed Minimum 5 years experience as a Construction Project Manager on similar size projects (Commercial fitout up to $10m, Commercial/Industrial up to $30m)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Keen understanding of construction program, from pre-construction to final handover
Able to commit to project for the next 12 months minimum (client flexible as to; contract/salaried/fixed term contract)
