Senior Project Manager

Working for this large government body as a Senior Project Manager you will oversee the Service Contract Transition from the current incumbent to the new proposed partner as well as the standard assets program and LCM for those data centre assets (refresh/relocate).
This role requires an experienced Senior Project Manager who has strong commercial skills, and has experience with complex projects, and significant vendor management/transition.
Key activities Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects (typically with significant business, political, or high-profile impact, and high-risk dependencies)Monitor and control resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholdersPerform what-if analyses and scenario planning; develop insights and proposals to improve business valueManage the process of integrating demand management with complementary strategic, operational and change management processesReview new business proposals; provides advice on demand issues and routes requests to the right placeSkills and experience Solid experience in project management including complex projects, and significant vendor management/transitionSubstantial career evidence of ICT project management including proven management of multiple projects concurrently within large and complex organisationsProven experience in successful budget responsibility for projects over $1 millionExtensive project lifecycle experience understanding the planning and delivery of projects in its entiretyProven confidence in verbal communication with the successful ability to deal with people at all levels of an organisation including liaising with a wide range of diverse IT & business stakeholdersApply now to secure an interview or contact Dylan Tasker on 9236 7753 for a confidential discussion.
