Senior Project Manager

Ongoing projects within a Darwin Onshore Processing FacilityWork Schedule: 5:2 local Darwin residents or FIFO 2:1 from Perth or BrisbaneIdeal Candidate: Would suit a Project Manager with a SMP background.THE ROLEManaging all aspects of the project including contract management, estimating, programming of work, and defect rectification.Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project.Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors.Encourage a collaborative, client-focused culture, managing stakeholders' needs relative to projects, and create long-term loyal relationships.Ensure the client is regularly informed about project performance and issues in a timely and professional manner.Plan and deliver HSECQ start-up and plans.ABOUT YOUAlong with extensive project management and delivery skills, you will have a SMP background (Structural Mechanical Piping) that includes one or more of the following:Structural or Mechanical Engineer with Project Manager experience.Planner who has worked in the field in O&G and has knowledge of Primavera.Boilermaker/welder or Pipe Fitter that has developed through trade to Supervision and then onto Project management.You will have experience in managing projects in and around the Oil and Gas industry along with leadership skills, commercial acumen, and planning and programming skills.Desirable QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management, or similar.THE BENEFITSOngoing rewards & recognition programs.Access to everyday discounts from Australia's leading retailers with Flare.Paid parental leave.Employee referral programs up to $2000.Salary sacrifice options.Employee Assistance Program.Novated lease options.First Aid and Mental First Aid Support Officers.
