The opportunity With growth across federal client engagements, this Senior Project Manager will join our awesome Canberra team working to navigating the complexities of the federal gov landscape.
At a high level, you'll support delivering Azure cloud services and IT infrastructure projects within agile and hybrid environments.
We value innovative problem-solving skills, adaptability and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges in our ever-evolving technology landscape.This person must hold an active NV1 security clearance and be Canberra based. Our Senior Project Managers are orchestrators to clients, technical teams, vendors, and partners to deliver exceptional outcomes.
You'll manage risks, issues, and quality like a pro, ensuring everything runs smoothly - deadlines, budgets, and utilisation.
This also means getting your hands dirty and tackling critical project components yourself, keeping you at the forefront of the action.
You'll drive a balance of assigned projects to success whilst supporting others when needed.
You'll oversee deliverables, track schedule progress, communicate updates clearly, and provide insightful reports/workshops to clients.
To round it all together, a commercial acumen backed by an ability to manage financials, negotiate and resolve conflict will underpin your influence towards results.
Championing our clients is paramount!
You'll serve to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, becoming their trusted advisor.
As the eyes and ears on the ground, you'll also work to identify opportunities, collaborate effectively, and deliver results that align with broad client strategies.
In terms of the methodologies, you'll leverage appropriate Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps or Hybrid methods based on project needs.
And, from a technical perspective, an ability to understand cloud services environments, processes and translate the fundamentals into business needs is pivotal.
For context, we specialise in Azure infrastructure, data modernization, security, migrations and engineering scopes of work.
