Job Description AECOM is expanding its dynamic Program Management business in Canberra and are looking for a 'Senior Project Manager' to join our team.
Working with a high performing team of engineers, scientists, designers and drafters with a passion for digital delivery, you will be supporting the team in winning, managing and delivering projects across a diverse range of engineering, transport and civil infrastructure projects.
This role is tailor-made for an individual who is passionate about developing into a future leader, who loves working with people and has the passion to mentor and lead teams aligned with AECOM's vision to build a better world.
Some Responsibilities:
Support leadership on large and complex engineering or infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time and budgetLead small to medium engineering or infrastructure projectsMaintain strong client relationships and manage stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams to facilitate delivery while ensuring quality.Contributing to our high performing, engaged and supportive team cultureMentoring and supporting colleagues to foster learning and knowledge sharing within the team Qualifications As a 'Senior Project Manager', you will be engaged, excited by project delivery and the successful integration of varied specialist and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
What are we looking for from you?
Tertiary education in engineering, construction, and/or project management.2+ years of relevant project management experienceStrong foundation in project management competencies such as scheduling, contracts, budgeting and financial analysis, risk management, etc.Proven knowledge and understanding of the design and project processes in the industryStrong written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of seniority.In joining our dynamic and market-leading team, you will contribute to the delivery of our growing portfolio of large infrastructure projects in the ACT and AECOM's portfolio across Australia.
