Due to exceptional growth and success, the RPS Project Management team in Cairns are seeking motivated and qualified client-side Senior Project Manager who has previous experience in successfully delivering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in Building and Construction, Infrastructure, Contract Management, Refit, Property Management and similar. This position is based in Cairns, with a high performing team, who is a market leader in project management who specialise in the delivery of large complex projects.

This role would suit an established project management professional wanting to take a key role in the delivery of infrastructure and building construction projects as well as managing client relationships.
About you You will hold a tertiary qualification in design / project management, engineering, construction management or similar; and have:
10+ years project management experience Demonstrated recent project experience involving civil, open space and/or sporting infrastructure roles. A strong understanding and proven experience in managing contracts, contract administration and design and approvals management. Very strong stakeholder management, communications and leadership skills.  Expertise in collaborating with various government agencies to successfully execute complex projects. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.  Ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook with Microsoft Project and an understanding of spatial design software is desirable. Australian citizenship and holding or successfully obtaining and retaining a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance. AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
