Senior Project Manager Start date: ASAP – Pending cleared Police Check & PVP Clearance Contract Length: 12 months Location: ACT Close Date: Friday 4th Oct 2024 – 9am The Senior Project Manager may need to directly supervise staff and has a matrix reporting structure to the Senior Director, Project Management Practice and DDTS Project Responsible Officer and/or Executive.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Take delivery responsibility for the Windows 11 Roll Out Project and related work packages, in accordance with the DDTS delivery frameworks, processes and tools to ensure deliverables are completed within the agreed baseline and that the expected stakeholder outcomes are achieved.
Provide effective leadership to the multi-disciplinary teams working on the allocated projects ensuring processes and tools are used effectively and the team is successful in their objectives.
Establish and build relationships with key customer contacts and stakeholders to ensure effective engagement, communication, issue resolution and implementation of the project objectives.
Ensure that outcomes and benefits are forecast, planned and monitored to ensure their effective realisation.
This position will involve direct supervision of staff but has no HR delegation.
