Optus Business is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide excellent project management services for both customer and internal projects. The role involves managing all aspects of project management, including scope definition, scheduling, resource management, customer relationships, communications, supplier management, financial management, and issue, risk, and change management.
Your day in the life of a Senior Project Manager at Optus
Perform all program and project management activities to support a cross-functional team in a matrix environment and effectively communicate and co-ordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
Initiate and undertake planning for projects as per the agreed Project Management Frameworks
Managing the deployment of ICT products/Carriage and services to customers.
Ensuring customers' services are accurate and valid.
delivering key project milestones along with financial and customer experience KPIs.
The provision of full delivery services spanning both the technical, commercial, capital and operational aspects.
Contribute to the writing and production of tender documents.
Your skills to pay the bills
Minimum AGSVA Ba seline security clearance required for this role
Extensive experience managing large scale projects / programs with multiple workstreams and cross-functional dependencies.
Proven track record in supporting a large team.
Excellent administrative skills, coupled with a general understanding of the program life cycle, project documentation, project standards, tools and methodologies.
Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills through high impact influencing and relationship building.
Ability to effectively in a variety of different environments and respond appropriate to unexpected circumstances and deal with ambiguity in an appropriate and decisive manner.
