My work is interesting, and I am constantly learning."What you'll be doing:Atturra is looking for a full-time Senior Project Manager, to work within the Cloud Business Solutions, Project Delivery Team, delivering to our Atturra clients in Federal Government. Ideally, this role will be based in our Canberra office, with flexible working arrangements on offer.You will be responsible for the Management of multiple concurrent ICT applications projects, from initiation to closure, according to our client's project management methodology.Atturra is seeking candidates who have a passion for innovative technology and driving customer transformation. This person must be able to communicate with a variety of different audiences and must have strong presentation skills. The ability to work in a cohesive team (Atturra and the client team) is important for this role.Responsibilities:Facilitating the refinement and definition of project scope, based on the approved project brief and costing, with business and ICT teamsNegotiate and manage access to and performance of ICT resources across a matrixed organisationPrepare project management artefacts including ICT Delivery Plan, Project Change Requests (where required), fortnightly project status reports, project financial spend phasings and forecasts, risk register, issue register and change registerFacilitate the review and approval of technical artefacts such as user/functional specificationsLead regular project status meetings involving all Agency stakeholders; andAct as first point of contact for risks, issues and conflicts between ICT teams and between ICT and business.What will make you successful in this role?Microsoft Office SuiteProject Web AppMS Project ServerRole Requirements:5-7 + years' Project Management experience, preferably in Federal Government projectsMUST have an active BaselineSecurity Clearance to applyMust have effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technicalaudiencesAbility to effectively recognise and adapt tochangeAbility to work independently and in a teamenvironmentHigh level of enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and highly self-motivatedStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diversecommunity.Atturra is passionate about playing an active role in addressing the digital skills gap and being an advocate for diversity and Inclusion, and welcomes applications from all irrespective of their gender, LGBTQI identity, ethnicity, religion, physical ability, or age.This document is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
