Primary Objective: Manage the development and delivery of assigned civil Capital Works, Minor New Works, and specific maintenance projects to ensure objectives are achieved.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver assigned complex and non-complex Capital Works, Minor New Works, and specific maintenance projects, ensuring the objectives and constraints of time, cost, and quality are achieved.Manage all phases of the project including investigation, development design, and formulation of civil asset construction projects for roads and other civil assets.Undertake the roles of Superintendent Representative for construction contracts and Contract Supervisor for consultants, ensuring compliance with standards and legislation.Manage negotiations with stakeholders, anticipating their expectations and concerns.Selection Criteria: Essential: A degree in Civil Engineering or similar field and registration, or eligibility for registration as an Engineer.High-level professional knowledge and experience in civil design, construction, and maintenance techniques.Strong Project Management knowledge and experience in Contract Management.Experience in contract and stakeholder negotiations, influencing, and dispute resolution.Demonstrated ability to approach negotiations with a strong grasp of key issues.High-level written and verbal communication skills.Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or similar. #J-18808-Ljbffr
