THE ROLE The Senior Project Manager role ensures project management, compliance, quality assurance, and management over the department's website redesign project, including online information and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the delivery of the Department's Website Redesign Project ensuring project goals, timelines, and budget are met.Develop detailed project plans and other project management artifacts, including scope, timelines, resources, risk management, and change management, adhering to Queensland Government project management methodologies.Manage contracts with web development vendors.Ensure redesigned site/s are compliant with relevant Queensland Government guidelines, policies, and frameworks.TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proven experience in managing complex digital or web-based projects within a large organization, preferably within the public sector.Strong knowledge of project management.Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver on projects.High-level understanding of web development, including UX design, information architecture, and digital content.Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA standards, web accessibility requirements, and government digital services.Proven ability to manage vendor contracts and procurement processes.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button.
