Randstad is recruiting for an AO4 Program Officer to join a state government department In Townsville CBD for a contract role
In the role of Program Officer, you will provide support to program and project managers, to contribute to effective management of programs and projects.
Key Duties:
Monitor regional office projects for data quality and make changes depending on project timelines.
Collate, schedule, monitor and report on the performance and status of program/project and financial support activities.
Prepare, contribute and negotiate solutions for identified conflicts in projects.
Monitor project spend and take appropriate action to mitigate under/overspends.
Research data and provide solutions

Experience/Skills required:
Previous experience in a program/project management support position.
Proven ability adhering to deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Current holder of class C driver's licence.
Able to undergo employment screening as part of the process including a criminal history check.
