About the Role:
Provide leadership, expertise and guidance to ensure thedelivery of a range of complex flood management projects,including Gawler River flood management and state-wide leveebank management.Strategically plan, direct and manageteams/contractors.Professional representation of DEW that engagesstakeholders on the science and technical understanding ofcomplex flood management projects and management options todeliver on effective flood management.Provide timely and specialist advice, expert analysis andbriefings to the Minister, Chief Executive, Executive andsenior management, on critical and complex matters related toflood management projects.Plan, deliver and manage projects on time and withinbudget.What can we offer you! Essential Qualifications:
A degree in civil,or environmental engineering is essential. Postgraduatequalifications with an emphasis on project management is highlydesirable.
Special Conditions:
Intrastate and interstate travel including overnightabsences may be required.May be required to participate in fire and flood managementor associated duties.Out of hours work may be required.Must hold a current driver's licence.Remuneration: 
PO4, $109,060 min - $118,690 max p.a.
