About the roleStantec Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager (Engineering) to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex Sus Cap engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.What you'll be doingManage the overall planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects from start to finish.Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery.Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Identify and mitigate risks, and implement appropriate strategies to address them.Oversee the work of project team members, including engineers, designers, and technical specialists.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers and team members.Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements.What we're looking forMinimum 15 years of experience as a project manager in the engineering industry.Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members.Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or a related field, with a relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).What we offerAt Stantec, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
