Role Description Due to company growth and an extremely busy pipeline, we're taking applications for a Senior Project Manager to manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects in the Education sector across NSW, including regional locations.
These are complex, sophisticated projects, providing you with the opportunity to work with highly respected clients and catapult your career ahead of your peers very quickly.
Because of the nature of these projects, your soft skills, attitude and aptitude are just as important as your technical abilities in Construction and Contract Management.
Located in our Sydney office, you'll be responsible for:
Business case preparation and scoping of works.
Managing the design, tender and procurement processes.
Engaging with contractors and consultants.
Managing the technical construction/delivery phase of the project.
Fostering relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports as required.
Overseeing contract management, variations and claims.
Candidate ProfileTo be successful in this role, you'll need demonstrated experience as a Client-Side Project Manager, or have building consultancy experience.
You could be a Project Manager looking to take your first steps into a Senior Project Management role, or be an established Senior Project Manager already.

You'll also need:
The ability to understand 'the big picture' of what the client is trying to achieve with their project – the reason for the project is critical to the success of the business.
Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
Experience with design and construction phases of projects, ideally from the Industrial or Commercial sectors.
A willingness to work as part of the Project delivery team, to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
Qualifications in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
What's In It For YouThis role is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next steps in their Project Management career, and manage challenging projects in a key sector of the Construction marketplace.
As a Senior Project Manager at RPI, you'll also receive:
The ability to broaden your project expertise – we offer a range of projects across multiple sectors, giving you access to the full Infrastructure spectrum.
Phenomenal support from our talented leadership team – you'll play an integral part in shaping the further development of our business.
A hybrid working environment, with high levels of autonomy and flexibility.
Work in a way that best suits you!
Ongoing career development and continuous progression opportunities.
Upon joining RPI, you'll receive your own tailored Professional Development Plan, as well as a senior mentor to help you reach your next career goals.
A strong, supportive management team that cares about YOU.
We're passionate about what we do, and we're proud to prioritise the development of our staff.
Constant support in learning & development with internal growth opportunities, and a collaborative team culture that values celebrating success with company-wide and team events.
Free access to EAP services (Employee Assistance Program), and a dedicated Health & Wellbeing + Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
RPI supports a diverse and inclusive work environment as well as equal employment opportunities.
We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people living with a disability, and people of all ages, sexual orientations, nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures.

Disclaimer: We do not accept unsolicited agency resumes and are not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.
