Senior Project Manager - Commercial Design & Construct Group (Fitout/Refurb)

The Company:My client is an established national commercial design and construct group that delivers a diverse range of fitout, refurbishment, and redevelopment projects valued up to 20mil.
This group is a national leader in the design and delivery of corporate workplace, commercial building refurbishments/redevelopments, government, hotel/hospitality, luxury retail, and tertiary education projects.With 3 offices nationally, this group leverages strong relationships with a plethora of institutional blue-chip property clients including property developers, property funds, landlords, retail & hotel brands, healthcare providers, universities, and private sector tenant clients.The Role:Reporting to the Construction Manager/Project Director, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of your own project portfolio for key clients, ensuring that the client's requirements are understood and translated through the design/delivery process.
You will also be involved throughout the associated strategic client engagement, ECI/D&C, value engineering, and project planning phases.
Given the D&C nature of their work, there is a high level of collaboration between the group's Client/Business, Preconstruction, Design, and Project Delivery Teams.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead Project Teams including Site Managers, Contract Administrators, and Cadets.Lead strategic project/client engagement functions, including preconstruction/ECI/D&C, value engineering, and ongoing project delivery.Interpret, understand, and execute Head Contracts, as well as implementing commercial contract risk mitigating strategies.Ongoing management of project financials and expenditure in line with budgets.Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum 4 years' experience managing the delivery of commercial (or similar) fitout/refurbishment/construction projects valued up to 2mil - D&C experience is preferable.Experience leading client interactions throughout the preconstruction/D&C/ECI processes.Strong understanding of the associated design/D&C, fitout, refurbishment methodologies in live environments, as well as commercial contract management functions.If it sounds like you are well suited for this role, please click "apply now".
