This is a fantastic opportunity to join this team at the forefront of growth.About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (we will consider Project Manager to Project Director level too) with a well-rounded background across various project types and building contract experiences. You will join our national team, supported by the main office in Melbourne, and be involved in overseeing a diverse range of medium to large-scale projects. This is a client-side PM role that offers you an unmatched opportunity to learn, grow, and gain exposure across different sectors.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Lead the day-to-day management of projects across all phases, identifying and managing risks to ensure successful outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement: Chair meetings with clients and project control groups, ensuring positive, proactive communication with all stakeholders.Financial Management: Oversee project finances, including procurement, superintendent's directions, variations, and claims.Risk & Issue Management: Identify and address project issues early, proposing solutions and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.Project Administration: Manage meeting action plans, project communications, and maintain up-to-date project documentation in line with SEMZ standards.Team Support: Guide and mentor team members in complex problem-solving, ensuring smooth project execution.Reporting: Provide feedback on communications, minutes, and reports to ensure clarity and effectiveness.Resource & Task Management: Organise tasks, allocate resources, and identify potential barriers to project completion.About You:This role is perfect for a self-starter eager to take a leadership role within our new Tasmanian office. You should have strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate with various teams and clients, and a proven ability to manage medium to large-scale projects. As this is the first leadership position in the new office, we need someone proactive who thrives in a dynamic, growing environment.Desired Experience & Skills:Experience: 6+ years in the building industry, ideally in Project Management, Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or related industries.Contract Knowledge: Understanding and exposure to various building contract types.Project Experience: Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects from inception to completion.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide practical solutions to complex challenges.Organisation: Highly organised, with a focus on detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Adaptability: Comfortable working with evolving project requirements and priorities, ensuring flexibility in execution.How to Apply:To apply, submit your resume via "Appy".
