Crest Project Management is a dynamic consultancy that offers both Client-Side Project Management and Quantity Surveying Services to developers across a range of sectors, including residential development, commercial, retail, hospitality, hotels, education, and industrial.
Crest Project Management is based on the Gold Coast, undertaking projects throughout SE Queensland and Northern NSW.
The majority of our projects are on the Gold Coast and this role will ideally suit someone who is locally based.
The Role Reporting to the Director, you will be a key member of the project team responsible for delivering projects across a range of sectors.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the necessary experience and key skills to work autonomously, and to provide the following:
Programme and Cost Management: ability to provide an overall project programme in MS Projects and project budgets, to then monitor to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Design Management: brief the design team, obtain proposals for client approval, and then manage the design team through all phases of design by organising, chairing, and minuting design meetings.Approvals Management: manage the approvals process and have a thorough knowledge of all approvals required and timing impacts on the project.Risk Management: identify and document project risk and manage risk throughout the project cycle.Procurement Management: compile the tender brief and assemble documentation for builder pricing, including detailed assessment of tenders for client presentation.Contract Delivery: administer multiple contracts as Superintendent and understand contract law, payments, extensions of time claims.Close-Out: understanding project close-out, approvals, and titling/settlement process (residential).Client Service: understanding the client requirements and ability to communicate at all levels.Financial Management: detailed understanding of the client and Crest's commercial position and business model in the project.People Management: developing a strong and motivated project team through effective communication and direction leadership.Leadership: strong leadership to develop and build a professional network with peers and maintain relationships with key or potential clients and consultants.

Skills and Experience
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or construction-related degree.
• Minimum 6-8 years' experience in client-side project management.
• Proven track record in client-side project management delivery.
• Strong technical understanding of the built form across all disciplines with attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve.
• Strong communication, written, and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, such as AS4000 and AS4902, and demonstrated experience as superintendent under the contract.
• Have strong financial budgeting skills.
• Experienced using: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, MS Project.
• Must have your own vehicle and driver's licence.
