Role Overview: My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the construction of a 1200-person workers' village as part of a $75 million development in Central West NSW.
This exciting project is set to run for 12-18 months, with on-site works beginning at the end of March.
The project includes a second stage involving the construction of a 600-person village at Nelly's Lane.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the entire project, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.Oversee client liaison and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.Take responsibility for contracts administration, ensuring all contracts are managed efficiently and compliance is maintained.Run PCG meetings to ensure all key project decisions are aligned with stakeholder expectations and project milestones.Lead and manage project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration.Monitor and control project budgets, implementing cost-saving measures when necessary.Ensure the highest quality standards are adhered to, with full compliance to safety regulations and industry standards.Proactively manage project risks, identifying and mitigating issues that could delay or impact the project.Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on progress, risks, and changes to the project scope.Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.Strong experience in client liaison and managing contracts administration.Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating a team.In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Solid experience with budget management, cost control, and schedule adherence.Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure.Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.WHS and safety compliance knowledge.Why Join This Project?
