Senior Project Manager - Banking

Join a large scale multi-year program of work 12 month day rate contract with chance of extension Hybrid work environment Sydney based Big 4 Bank is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a large-scale transformation program.
Leading a team in driving Change Management initiatives working with stakeholders in product, operations and distribution to effectively identify and manage the impact on people, process and systems.
Key Responsibilities will include: Project Leadership: Oversee end to end project management for change initiatives, utilising Agile delivery practice to ensure successful adoption and integration of changes.
Stakeholder management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior management, product, operations, distribution and product team members to ensure alignment and effective communications throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk management: Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, developing and implementing contingency plans to address and potential issues.
Team leadership: Foster effective collaboration with the team.
Mentoring and developing team members to enhance their capabilities in driving effective change across the organisation.
The right candidate will have: Sound experience delivering end to end business projects in banking, ideally working with consumer and / or business banking products.
Strong Agile experience utilising tools such as JIRA and Confluence Project Management Certifications Scrum Master qualifications and highly desirable Experience working closely with product teams This is a 12 month day rate contract role and will pay circa $1000 + super / day (may have a little flex.)
Hybrid work environment with 2 - 3 days per week in Sydney CBD office.
