The team This role will focus on delivering technology and capability improvements on key application-based projects.
As part of the Digital Data and Technology Portfolio Office—a centre of excellence—you will help coordinate and manage organisation-wide strategic business planning, transformational application projects, and change initiatives.
Your work will be integral to project management governance, cross-ASIC program oversight, and leading performance and regulatory reporting and analysis.
The role * Assisting with developing, enhancing and integrating key applications * Comply with the ASIC Project Management Methodology, which is based on PRINCE2, and System Development Methodology.
* Deliver projects within the approved KPIs * Control the project using appropriate tools and escalate early to minimise risk to success.
* Identify resource requirements, engaging and managing resources.
* Comply with the Commonwealth procurement rules and processes.
* Embed the change utilising change management activities.
About you * Experience working on applications based projects * Comprehensive project management experience, with involvement in large, business critical systems and Australian Government IT projects being highly regarded.
* Experience delivering complex IT projects or previous technical experience in an applications management role.
