TRA prides itself on providing quality fixed plant maintenance and installation services and aims to be industry leaders in rope access shutdown maintenance.
Tasman Rope Access is seeking a skilled Project Lead to lead our project teams and ensure operational excellence. Working from our Adelaide office with frequent site visits, our Project Lead will ideally be a Mechanical Engineer with prior experience supervising maintenance activities within the mining and resourcing industry.
The Role: Monitoring project teams, issuing work packs and providing technical guidance, ensuring effective utilisation of team members and clear communication of work scopes.Ensuring all completed works meet applicable standards and codes, and are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining the high standards of Tasman Rope Access.Lead pre-start meetings, ensure proper equipment and materials are available, and verify that tasks are performed safely in accordance with OHS policies.Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted promptly while representing Tasman Rope Access professionally.Oversee staff qualifications and fitness for work, providing performance feedback, and reporting any disciplinary issues to ensure a high-performing team.About You: Minimum 5 years' experience working in a Project Supervisor role or similar.Proven experience and understanding with the interpretation of technical drawings.Proven experience in supervising maintenance activities within the mining and resourcing industry.Preferably experience with Estimating and Scheduling.Be comfortable with frequent site travel.Ability to work within a team and autonomously.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.Strong leadership experience, including the ability to identify employee-related concerns.Have a proactive 'can do' approach.Qualifications: Mandatory: First Aid CPR / LVRC Class Drivers LicenseSection 44 or equivalentWorking at HeightsTrade QualificationBachelor in Mechanical EngineeringConfined Space Entry (within 2 years)Gas Test Atmosphere (within 2 years)High Risk License – EWPTasman is an equal opportunity Company and encourages people with diverse backgrounds to apply, particularly persons of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
