About the role
The Senior Project Finance Analyst, as part of the Program Performance Team, provides expert business analysis of capital project activity, cost recovery distribution, productivity, and financials (including internal budgeting and forecasting processes and divisional financial performance reporting) to inform the critical decision processes of Executive and Senior Management.
Reporting to the Manager of Project Finance, you will be required to develop systems and processes to facilitate effective and efficient capital project financial management to support the project teams in delivering their projects across the following primary functions:
Forecasting expenditure and milestone dates Financial governance and compliance Financial Project Management & Reporting Month end processes The successful person
To be successful in the role, you will have high-level knowledge of and experience with capital project financial management practices and systems, including the monitoring and analysis of budget, forecast, milestone reporting, and development of budgets.
A positive attitude and conflict resolution skills are essential to this role, as is the ability to exercise initiative and achieve quality outcomes autonomously and in a team environment, prioritizing workload demands to meet competing deadlines.
