Position Overview:
My client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer specializing in water supply systems to join their growing team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead key projects in the mining and resources sector, focusing on the design, implementation, and management of water supply infrastructure.
Requirements: 8-10+ years of relevant experiencePreferred experience in the EPCM and mining resources sector (particularly Iron Ore)Previous experience managing supply contract packages, including cost, schedule, quality, and contractor oversightStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven interpersonal abilities with experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholdersResponsibilities: Oversee a Water Supply contract package for an iron ore mining site, including management of bores, headworks, pipelines, pump stations, and water storage and distribution systemsConduct tender evaluations and manage contract awards, package management (including cost, schedule, and quality), and contractor oversightCollaborate with engineering and design teams, as well as the site construction teamALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
