About the role We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Temporary Works Coordinator) for the Byford Rail Extension project in Armadale, WA.
Temporary Works schemes planned and in use include earthworks shoring, lifting operations support, formwork & falsework, scaffold access, and precast propping schemes across multiple sites.
This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities As a Temporary Works Coordinator you will be responsible for planning and reviewing Temporary Works, ensuring that all schemes are identified, planned, designed, constructed and dismantled in line with Laing O'Rourke's company policies, Australian Standards and industry best practice.
About you - A degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering along with construction contracting experience having worked as a Senior Project Engineer for Tier 1 Construction Contractors.
- Experience working with temporary works on large civil projects is essential.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
