As a Senior Project Engineer at Sequana, you will play a crucial role in our organisation's mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions in the water industry. Your experience and expertise will contribute to the successful execution of large-scale water treatment and desalination projects, from initial design and construction through to commissioning. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative water infrastructure solutions, making a tangible impact on communities and the environment.What you do:Apply your deep knowledge and understanding of water treatment processes, and equipment to optimise project design, construction methodologies, and operational efficiency all project phases, including inception, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations.Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources required.Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.Establish clear communication channels and regular progress reporting mechanisms.Work closely with design teams to create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Evaluate and select appropriate materials, components, and technologies for project implementation.Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.Contribute to Risk Management by identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, monitoring project risks, and taking proactive measures to address them.Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective communication, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.Implement quality control procedures to ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards of technical excellence, safety, and sustainability.Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical deliverables, feasibility studies, and engineering designs and ensure the quality and accuracy of this documentation.Fostering a collaborative, innovative and enjoyable work environment while helping motivate fellow team members to achieve project objectives.Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and forums. Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge sharing to establish the organization as a leader in the field.Who you areCandidates should possess:A Bachelor's or Master's degree or similar relevant qualification in civil or mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 7 years relevant water industry experience, with a focus on experience in medium to large-scale civil and piping projects would be beneficial.
