Reporting to the Project Manager you will assist with the marine construction for the Alkimos Desalinisation Project.The ProjectThe Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year. The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.ResponsibilitiesContribute and drive engineering and design outcomes which support efficiency in marine construction.Construction of Offshore Temporary works structures and schemes.Management of complex lifting and diving operations.Offshore vessel management and logistics management.Prepare budgets, accruals, and takeoffs and develop first principle estimates and monitor daily costs.Review design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis and quality.Conduct risk assessments, identifying hazards, and enforcing safety protocols to mitigate potential incidents.Act as a point of contact for technical discussions with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing updates on road header progress, challenges, and resolutions.Required Skills and CompetenciesBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field.Experience with Jack Up barge operations and procedures.Experienced in both self-delivery and subcontract management for offshore works.Experienced in offshore piling, drilling and grouting works.What we offerAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
