This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who thrives on managing complex civil projects and has a passion for delivering excellence in the engineering of bridges and structural works.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning and execution of structural projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices.Oversee the preparation of design reports, drawings, and technical specifications, ensuring they meet client and regulatory requirements.Manage on-site activities, ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of all project operations.Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure successful project outcomes.Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks and reviews throughout the project lifecycle.Manage project risks, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful delivery and financial performance.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is desirable).7+ years of experience in structures/bridge engineering, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it.In-depth knowledge of structural analysis, bridge design, and construction techniques.Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, structural analysis tools).Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.Familiarity with relevant UK standards, codes, and regulations, including Eurocodes and DMRB.Experience with complex structural systems and innovative construction methodologies.Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices in civil engineering.Previous experience liaising with local authorities and regulatory agencies.Why join the CaSE team?At CaSE we believe our people are at the centre of our organisation and we recognise that they are the key to our success.
