Acciona Construction Australia have been awarded a contract with the Australian Naval Infrastructure Project in South Australia.
This project will involve a number both civil and structural packages.
As such we are seeking to engage a Senior Project Engineer with experience in Civil or Bridge Structures to join our team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a major project and play a key part in its successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
As an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction Lead client/contractor meetings especially in the PM's absence Identification and assessment of risk to the project as well as implementation of strategies to mitigate risk Use your technical skills to resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunities Assist in development and implementation of the master program and maintain mid- long-term look aheads Contracts & commercial responsibilities on the project Cost and forecast control to assist the project managers with strategic planning Lead, develop and manage large project teams on the ground Build effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisors Maintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project Skills and Experience we are seeking:
You will have extensive experience on site working on a range of civil packages as those above.
You will be able to manage, and develop the master program as well as display a high level of competency around contracts, cost forecasting, & management of a large team of engineers Well-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and client representatives Why ACCIONA?
