Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contractor is experienced across multiple disciplines including roads, earthworks, drainage and concrete structures with a long history in the industry.
This $20M restoration project based in Mission Beach consists of roadworks, drainage and landscaping for a local council. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer with exposure and responsibilities towards project management.
As Senior Project Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of project delivery with a particular focus on procurement and daily programming of civil works. In this role, you will require exceptional planning and organisational skills, cost awareness and forecasting ability, preferably working on Qld Department of Main Roads and subdivisions contracts.
Your role will be supporting the Project Manager in the day-to-day running of the site, including the following responsibilities:
Client management Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers Subcontract management & liaising Planning, programming & resourcing Progress claims & variations Reporting on a weekly & monthly basis The successful individual must have at least 4 years of local civil infrastructure experience, a proven track record of delivering roads, stormwater drainage, and urban projects with a civil contractor in similar conditions. This is a local opportunity in Mission Beach, with work going until late 2025, with future work to follow.
