The Role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our client's team and oversee major Civil, Construction, and Bulk Earthworks projects throughout Western Australia. The role will be based from Perth.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise project teams to ensure project objectives are met. Mentor and guide Project Engineers in their development. Oversee project progress, allocate tasks, and facilitate project planning meetings. Manage quality assurance documentation, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Handle progress reporting, monitor schedules, and track project milestones. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, project teams, and management while ensuring high standards of project delivery. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify potential opportunities for business growth. About You: 5+ years of experience in Civil and Bulk Earthworks Construction. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project. Innovative problem-solving approach with a focus on continuous improvement and successful project delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, correspondence, and instructions effectively. Technical expertise in construction, building, and civil processes. Proven leadership skills, capable of mentoring and coaching employees, and promoting the company's values. Flexibility to work both FIFO and Perth-based, as required by the project.
