CPB Contractors has more than 50 major infrastructure projects in delivery, across all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads and bridges, rail, tunnelling, defence, airports, buildings and resources, providing you with career opportunities for years to come.The ProjectThe Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including:Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)RAAF Base WaggaThe proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including:Construction of new messing and living accommodationConstruction of new training facilitiesRefurbishment and upgrading of existing buildingsRemedial works and upgrades to infrastructure servicesFor further information please visit the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture Website -Your OpportunityWe are looking for experienced Senior Project Engineers to join the project team, responsible for effectively coordinating the design, procurement and construction elements of the project to ensure safety, time, cost and environmental objectives are achieved.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Contributing to a culture of 'Safety underpins everything we do'Actively coordinate procurement and coordinate construction elementsActively manage the short and long-term construction planning for the worksDevelop/monitor KPI and productivity analysis against program and budgetActively liaise with subcontractors/suppliers and work with site personnelEnsure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processes.To be successful in this role you must have:Relevant tertiary qualificationsPrevious experience in commercial large construction projectsDemonstrated experience in planning and reporting against cost and timeStrong understanding of programme management, deadlines and budget controlsStrong attitude and awareness of SafetyHigh-level verbal and written communication skillsThese roles are based in either the Albury Wodonga area or Riverina/Wagga Wagga.
