Senior Project Engineer

Monadelphous are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our PNG Operations team, based on site in PNG on a FIFO 22:20 roster.This high-paced position will provide engineering services and project management support for assigned projects; provide advice and support for staff involved on the project/contract; and coach and mentor a team of Project Engineers.Key responsibilities of the role include:Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety, and quality.Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules, and contract.Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required.Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other members of the engineering team.Compile schedule, cost, progress, and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met.Provide support to the project team and implement best practices on the project.What you will bring:Extensive experience in Project Engineering on large-scale resources construction/maintenance projects.Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.A methodical approach, high attention to detail, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work.Be delivery-focused, with a high level of self-motivation and drive to support the project in delivering to a tight schedule.Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport.Life at Monadelphous:We celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
