They are renowned for their expertise in delivering high-quality civil construction projects, including roads, car parks, intersection upgrades, and roundabout improvements.About the Division:This division specialises in delivering critical infrastructure projects within the Melbourne metropolitan area, focusing on improving the efficiency and safety of our urban transport networks.About the Role:They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential engineering support to Project Managers across a range of civil construction projects.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise and support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.Skills & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, with a strong focus on road infrastructure projects.Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD Civil 3D).This role offers a clear pathway to Project Management. High-performing individuals will be fast-tracked into Project Manager positions, allowing them to lead and deliver successful projects.
