For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.About the role:We are currently seeking to engage with Civil & Electrical Project Engineers to join our skilled and expanding team on a permanent basis due to our expanding project portfolio in Victoria. This is your chance to be involved in a once in a lifetime venture that will see you upgrade critical transmission infrastructure as part of the green energy transition.Our Civil & Electrical Engineers are exposed to projects at every phase from tender through to delivery.Working away is required when delivering projects - typical roster being 11 days on, 3 days off and occasionally 3 weeks on 1 week off depending on the project. Uplift of between 10% - 20% is paid while working away as well as living away from home allowance (LAFA).This projects scope will see you work on multiple substations throughout Victoria with the typical individual project value being between $5M and $35M.Your responsibilities will include:Managing projects from start to finish, focusing on time, cost, quality, health, safety and environmental management;Managing contracts, scope, procurement, risk and opportunity, stakeholder communications and project integrationOrganising and directing site labour and delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for coordination of site activitiesHelping to document the project scopeIdentifying and assisting with resolution of scope discrepanciesIdentifying scope gaps between sub and head contractsCollating data and compile upstream claimsCompiling subcontract packagesMaintaining site quality records and contributing to the development of QMP, ITPs, check sheets, MDR and NCR registerAttending post tender interviewsCompiling and reviewing subcontract packagesAbout you:To be selected for interview please ensure your resume highlights degree qualification in a relevant subject & your experience a similar role either in the Utilities, Infrastructure or Construction industries.Strong knowledge of PMBOK and understanding of how to deliver a project safely, on time, budget and to a high level of qualityExperience in tendering, pre-contracts, and project deliveryConfidence liaising with multiple stakeholders and the ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads & frequent changes in priorities.Recruitment Process:During our recruitment process, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including pre-employment medical, reference checks and a national police check.When you join Zinfra, you become part of our diverse, inclusive and passionate team.
