At TLEA, you'll be part of a team that is excited to be involved in a world-class project that benefits not only the Western Australian community but the world.ABOUT THE POSITIONOur business seeks an experienced and talented Senior Project Engineer to join our team on a fixed term two-year contract working at our local Kwinana Refinery on a family-friendly Monday-to-Friday roster.The successful applicant will organise, schedule, and manage all the technical tasks of their assigned PMR projects to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from initiation to implementation stages. They can prioritise and understand what is critical, breaking down complexity and driving results.We seek an articulate individual who credibly creates visions of possibilities and likelihoods, establishing competitive and breakthrough strategies assisting our business to grow in the direction we need.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate personal commitment to safety and the well-being of people.Provides input to the owner's execution strategy and ensures that execution plans are consistent.Responsible for developing Process modification register (PMR) projects from project initiation, investigations design and execution and handover. Provides leadership to the engineering design and process design modifications occurring in existing operations to ensure that project goals and priorities are understood and creates a highly committed and aligned team environment with the operations team and all who can influence the project outcomes.Tracking all engineering design modifications in current operations within the system.Ensures engineering governance from Consultants and other project activities comply explicitly with procedures and policies.Authorises all commitments of expenditure on the project (subject to agreed delegation) and approves payment of invoices and manages claims responses.Ensures developed detailed scopes, cost, and schedule control baselines and manages the project based on the agreed control baseline.Delivering engineering design and project-specific standards to achieve project goals.Manage relationships and use 'Best for Project' decision making to deliver objectives.Conducts regular Engineering design meetings to review the progress, risks, and issues in all project disciplines.Undertake reviews and organise Engineering service providers for owner's team design and HAZOP reviews for design to ensure required design integrity.Manage risk within accountabilities including project risk matrix. Lead the management and engagement of key project vendors during construction and commissioning.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Tertiary degree in engineering with solid project management experience.
