About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer in Arundel in the water and sewer maintenance capital services sector, providing a range of planned, maintenance, repair, restoration and renewal services across Australia. You must have Project Engineering experience in the water/waste space. Initial 3-month contract with the option for permanent placement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide technical advice, project documentation, on-site coordination, and hazard control.
Report on performance, resolve issues affecting targets.
Ensure timely construction drawings, integrate community, environmental, and operational considerations.
Conduct value engineering reviews, assess constructability, develop safety reports.
Assist in budgeting, support methodology and procurement, liaise with partners and suppliers.
Provide cost reports, meet financial targets, ensure satisfaction, perform additional duties as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
Engineering Degree
3+ years of project engineering experience in the Australian water/waste industry is a must!
Proficient in delivering D&C projects, managing subcontractors, and developing agreements
Skilled in financial management, budgeting, and scheduling
Strong quality assurance, communication, organizational, and stakeholder relationship skills
Valid driver's license
Proof of immunity or willingness to vaccinate for Hepatitis A and B
