Senior Project Engineer

A leading infrastructure company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their team. They specialise in managing critical assets that are vital to our local communities. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, large-scale projects and a substantial portfolio of work, secured by an 8.5-year contract. Key Responsibilities

Ensure technical quality and compliance with council specifications and water codes

Manage project budgets, track costs, and monitor schedules for timely delivery

Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, providing guidance and support

Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to deliver projects meeting their needs

Manage a $10 million annual budget

Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred)

Strong technical skills, with a focus on problem-solving and innovation

Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring engineering teams

Proven experience in managing projects and budgets, with attention to detail

Ability to work towards clear career progression to Project Management
