The Project: The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.
The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including:
Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)RAAF Base WaggaThe proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including:
Construction of new messing and living in accommodationConstruction of new training facilitiesRefurbishment and upgrading of existing buildingsRemedial works and upgrades to infrastructure servicesFor further information, please visit the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture Website Your Opportunity as a Senior Project Engineer We are looking for experienced Senior Project Engineers to join the project team, responsible for effectively coordinating the design, procurement, and construction elements of the project to ensure safety, time, cost, and environmental objectives are achieved.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Contributing to a culture of 'Safety underpins everything we do'Actively coordinating procurement and construction elementsActively managing the short and long-term construction planning for the worksDeveloping/monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budgetActively liaising with subcontractors/suppliers and working with site personnelEnsuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processesTo be successful in this role, you must have:
Relevant tertiary qualificationsPrevious experience in commercial large construction projectsDemonstrated experience in planning and reporting against cost and timeStrong understanding of programme management, deadlines, and budget controlsStrong attitude and awareness of SafetyHigh-level verbal and written communication skillsThese roles are based in either the Albury Wodonga area or Riverina/Wagga Wagga.
