A diverse and energetic team and you will play a key role in contributing to our growth and success.About the roleAs a Senior Project Engineer at Binnies you will play a pivotal role in the conception, design, and realisation of water infrastructure projects.
The primary responsibilities include:Assist in the planning, execution and monitoring of projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder management, including contract management.Manage subcontractors, consultants and suppliers in accordance with contract requirements ensuring high performance in terms of time, cost and quality.Exercise judgement to prepare and justify regular overall forecasts of the financial outcome of the Project works against the budget.Contribute to the overall coordination and production of multi-disciplinary designs, and when necessary, construction execution, to deliver projects to the As-Sold financial metrics or better.Assist in the preparation, development and management of proposals as well as assessing the technical and commercial risks of projects during the bidding process.Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and to assist in formulating a scope of work that adds value for our customers and us.Manage the implementation and monitoring Work Procedures in multiple work areas and analyse & report all health or safety breaches and ensure corrective action is taken.About youProfessional qualification in Project Management and/or an engineering discipline.Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) is preferred, but not essential.Proven ability to plan, execute, monitor and control projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder management.Willingness to work onsite and in remote locations.Knowledge of schedule management using Microsoft Project, P6 or other suitable software.Demonstrated customer-facing success, including liaison with internal and external clients to develop relationships.Excellent communicator with staff, clients, joint venture partners and stakeholders.Why join usWe have a strong 'ENGAGED' culture that runs through everything we do.
