A well known and market leading Construction Group operating in Canberra for over 20 years. Specialists in the delivery of large scale multi-residential projects. Due to securing a large number of projects, they are seeking a driven Senior Project Engineer/Project Engineer who is looking to take that next step in their career and a join a growing and dynamic team.
About the Position.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will work directly with the Project Manager and Construction Manager. You will work collaboratively with the site team to delivery landmark projects valued over $100M, right from the design stage through to completion. You will liaise with the design team to ensure that the project is delivered to a high standard with a strong focus on WHS legislation.
Duties. Manage and track project costs, including budgeting, forecast and cost control measures Assist in the preparation and review of projects contracts, change orders, and RFIs Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure site team adheres to safety guidelines Lead the coordination of design and construction documents to ensure seamless execution of the project Skills & Experience.
Tertiary of Trade Qualification in a building related discipline is preferable Proven record of monitoring, managing, and complying with WHS and Quality Assurance processes and a Site/Project Engineer or similar Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers High-rise residential experience is highly desirable Culture.
