About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a proven background in managing complex infrastructure projects, spanning transport, utilities, and energy sectors. This role will lead the delivery of critical civil projects associated with the Brisbane Olympics, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to completion, and collaborate with design and management professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including design management, construction planning, and commissioning.
Conduct constructability reviews, risk assessments, and ensure all safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure smooth project delivery.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and technical submissions.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the project team to optimize outcomes.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of experience in project engineering, particularly in civil infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale transport projects.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams on large, multi-disciplinary projects.
Previous experience working on infrastructure projects $100m+ in Australia.
Familiarity with engineering design processes, project controls, and construction management principles.
Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in industry-standard project management software and tools.
