The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes.

We are currently searching for a Senior Project Engineer – Heavy Lift to join our team on Project Ceres.
Reporting to the Heavy Lift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex engineering projects that involve the planning, execution, and management of heavy lift activities.

Responsibilities Oversee the design and engineering of heavy lift operations, including lifting plans, rigging designs, and equipment specifications. Design and develop engineering solutions based on heavy transport and installation requirements using SPMTs. Perform structural analysis and stress calculations to ensure the integrity of structures during lifting operations. Rigging design, including the selection of appropriate rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, and spreader bars. Communicate lifting plans and safety procedures to the rigging crew and other relevant stakeholders. Oversee the setup and execution of rigging operations, ensuring compliance with the rigging plans and safety protocols. Provide technical guidance and support to the rigging crew during lifting operations. Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Lead and manage heavy lift engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with project stakeholders. Ensure all heavy lift activities adhere to safety regulations and industry best practices. Report and drive progress against weekly targets and key project milestones. Key Requirements 10+ years' experience within the Construction and Engineering industry. Experience working in a multi-tasking environment under time pressures and deadlines. Experience in heavy lift operations required. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering required. In-depth knowledge of heavy lift equipment, rigging, and lifting techniques.
