A leading Australian privately owned Civil Construction group with operations across Australia, continue to secure high quality infrastructure projects. They are now seeking to employ an experienced Senior Project Engineer on a FIFO 2:1 Roster on a major project in regional NSW with the scope including major underground concrete structures, FRP & associated civil works.
Role
As a Senior Project Engineer you will provide high quality and innovative engineering services, contract management and project programming to the Project team. Responsibilities include:
Interpret specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures. Comprehensive understanding of the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings and advise on best engineering solutions to meet project needs and budget. Create work programs for allocated work packages. Manage in conjunction with the wider team, the scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensure compliance. Identify variations in work packages and submit list for review. Ensure the requirements of the quality management plan are effectively implemented to meet project requirements. Ensure familiarity of team members with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirements. Prepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client. Background
To be considered for this role you will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Post Graduate qualifications advantageous). Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO capacity preferred with a Contractor. Concrete structures and FRP experience is a MUST. Experience with tunnel lining using DOKA or TFI travelling formwork systems highly desired. Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring project teams. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Benefits
The successful candidate will secure an outstanding salary package with 30% uplift. In addition, all flights/accommodation are paid for with the roster being 2:1 FIFO to NSW from any major Australian Capital City.
