TasWater Capital Delivery Office TasWater's Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is responsible for delivering TasWater's major infrastructure projects. These extensive, interesting, and varied works form part of TasWater's $1.1 billion capital works program that is being rolled out across the state of Tasmania. The CDO is an alliance formed between TasWater, CPB Contractors, and UGL Limited (both members of the CIMIC Group) along with WSP Australia, to create the TasWater Capital Delivery Office. The Opportunity The Senior Process Engineer will be required to provide engineering support, advice, design input, and multi-disciplinary design management services to enable the delivery of projects and/or programs of works for the efficient upgrade and creation of water and wastewater assets, with a particular focus on treatment assets.
Key Responsibilities: Provide input to business case authors in the planning phases on the mechanical, process, control, and instrumentation requirements. Develop or procure concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for multi-disciplined infrastructure projects with a focus on treatment/process items. Work with the estimating team to build cost estimates for process components based on concept, preliminary, and/or detailed designs. Ensure mechanical, process, control, and instrumentation solutions are deliverable, fit for purpose, and to relevant standards. Prepare detailed documentation and specification requirements for mechanical and process-related components to support procurement and delivery of allocated projects. About You Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Science of a related field. Extensive knowledge of standard and advanced water and wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological. Proven experience in Project Management and Design Management.
