Job Description - Senior Project Engineer - Electrical (261523) UGL'S Utilities team designs, constructs and maintains critical infrastructure across the water and power sectors, including wastewater treatment plants and power stations.
We design and construct assets such as power generation, transmission lines, substations, electrical distribution networks, water and wastewater treatment plants, and water pipelines.

TasWater Capital Delivery Office TasWater's Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is responsible for delivering major infrastructure projects as part of TasWater's $1.1 billion capital works program across Tasmania.
The CDO is an alliance formed between TasWater, CPB Contractors, and UGL Limited, along with WSP Australia, to create the TasWater Capital Delivery Office.
We deliver timely, cost-effective, quality capital works solutions to meet the needs of TasWater stakeholders and communities while ensuring the best long-term water supply and sewage treatment solutions are implemented, alongside new technologies.

The Opportunity The Senior Process Engineer will provide engineering support, advice, design input, and multi-disciplinary design management services for the efficient upgrade and creation of water and wastewater assets, focusing particularly on treatment assets.
Key Responsibilities: Provide input to business case authors in the planning phases on mechanical, process, control, and instrumentation requirements.Develop or procure concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for multi-disciplined infrastructure projects with a focus on treatment/process items.Work with the estimating team to build cost estimates for process components based on designs.Ensure mechanical, process, control, and instrumentation solutions are deliverable and fit for purpose.Prepare detailed documentation and specifications for mechanical and process-related components to support procurement and delivery of projects.About You Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Extensive knowledge of standard and advanced water and wastewater treatment processes.Proven experience in Project Management and Design Management.Proven applied knowledge of AS9001 Quality Systems.What makes you right for UGL: Ability to provide a safe, supportive, and positive workplace.Empower a united and collaborative culture.Deliver technical excellence and create efficient, innovative solutions.Build an enviable reputation and the trust of employees, clients, and stakeholders.Genuine concern for safety.About Us UGL is well-known for providing end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services across various sectors.
