Senior Project Engineer - Earthworks - Fuse Recruitment

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer - Earthworks to join our ciient for the delivery of a major peice of civil infrastrcuture in Brisbane / Gold Coast.
Due to continued growth, this is a newly created role due to the volume of work, with 2.5 years left on this major infrastructure project.
The successful candidate will work closely with the client managing a large package of earthworks on this huge site.
The scope includes earthworks, road works, and office facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Design : Oversee all aspects of earthworks and roadworks, ensuring designs meet project and environmental standards.
Contractual Management : Manage contract negotiations, administration, and compliance with project timelines and milestones.
Financial Oversight : Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial forecasts.
Operational Planning : Collaborate with teams to coordinate logistics, manage community impacts, and ensure environmental compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement : Liaise with government bodies, contractors, and community stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering high performance and ensuring safety across all activities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in civil engineering, including 5 years in roadworks and heavy civil projects.
Strong project management, contract administration, and financial acumen.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
Work Conditions: Monday to Friday role with the occasional Saturday Field and office-based work environments.
